The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers is designed for healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician’s assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course. This course is intended for professional rescuers entering or currently employed by a position in healthcare.
The BLS for Healthcare Providers course covers core material such as Adult and Pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of a the bag-mask), foreign body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation/AED.
The course length is up to 5 hours but rarely excedes 3 hours.
Course cost is $65 with a discount for parties of 5 or more.
