This course provides participants with an understanding of the intent of OSHA's blood borne pathogens regulations for the workplace. Course topics include: 

How blood borne diseases are spread and diseases of concern
Proper hygiene and use of protective equipment
Engineering and work practice controls
Proper cleaning and disinfecting procedures
What to do in the event of an exposure
Course meets the Oklahoma Department of Health's blood borne pathogens training requirement for tattoo parlors.

Course Length is 1.5 hours

Course cost is $25.00 per student.

Certification issued upon successful completion of course:

Preventing Disease Transmission -- valid one year
