The Heartsaver First Aid course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies. Optional topics include CPR, AED, Environmental Emergencies, and Asthma Care Training for Childcare Providers.
Heartsaver First Aid includes Adult First Aid with optional topics such as Environmental Emergencies, Adult/Child CPR with mask, Adult/Child AED, and Infant CPR with mask.
The total length for all modules is about 4 hours.
For First Aid only, the length is 2 hours
Heartsaver First Aid is intended for the lay-responder and includes a formal certification with card.
Course cost is $40 with a discount for parties of 5 or more and another discount for parties of 15 or more.
CPR/AED may be added for an additional $10 with a savings of $25.
